For More on my musical life check out - http://www.myspace.com/buskersunited Also check out my blog BUSKING IN NANAIMO on Nananaimo forum
Who would ever think that being a busker would be so hard and complicated? I see by many videos buskers all over Ireland not having any troubles and being left alone. But here in Nanaimo BC Canada they have the most rediculous set of rules you have ever seen for buskers have a look and give me your comments,
http://www.nanaimo.ca/UploadedFilesPath/Bylaws/5723.pdf
Here where I live they don't even clasify buskers as the perfoming artists nor do they include buskers as being eligable for cultural grants in My case it's because I am professional. Last night here in Nanaimo the city gave out $169,000 dollars in grants for arts and culture groups that is equivelent to 85,000 pounds, (Buskers exempt) tell me Is something wrong here?

Glad to hear from you, how are you doing? I hope everything is well. The weather down here in Oregon is cold and wet, wind, rain and snow in some places, stay indoors type weather. I am behind on keeping in touch with my friends on liveIreland. Sorry I haven't been in touch, I have been neglecting my computer lately . How is your busking coming along? Have you heard anything yet? Take care my friend, we'll talk again later.
Danny

it's me, Danny, I wanted to say "hi" and find out how thing's are going with your Busking. I hope everything is going well. We need a little bit more of that, not only there, but, here as well. Take care,
Danny
I read your message a few minute's ago. I am a guitar player myself and I love playing and singing, and, the bigger the audience, the better. I've told people in the past that my guitar has alway's been there for me, and, has never let me down. It alway's pick's me up and chase's away the blue's and worries. I do not see anything wrong with street entertainment, people have been doing it for year's. I,ve done a little of it myself when I was in high school. Keep on playing, that's what I say.
Best wishes,
Danny
My name is Danny as you already know. I thank you for inviting me to be your friend. I look forward to our LiveIreland friendship. You already know my sister Colleen, she's the one who introduced me to LiveIreland. It is an awsome way to meet new friend's and learn other culture's and life style's. I have to tell you now, my sister is the one who speak's gaelic, I just started learning, so, if you speak gaelic, please go easy on me! LOL I look forward to our friendship, thank you. Talk later.
Slan, Danny
JUST A LITTLE WISH FOR YOU, I'LL BE BACK SOON.
