I think I cannot be without this community so I decided to come back :)
Slan....
I love your pictures of the birds. We have a pair of Cardinals and doves that come to the bird feeder. Also some purple and gold finch. I have a hanging basket on the garage and a Purple Finch made its nest in there. Today they are hatching. Seems every year a bird makes it nest in that hanging basket...lol
Hope all is well with you WWM. I wished you had yahoo or MSN....you might find me moreso there....LOL
Have a Good one!!!!
Hugs....
About the respect, you have mine as well. I would like to hear more from you, so by all means add some more music. And yes, I am the male singer. My other regular singers are Delora D. Klugh, Amanda Taylor Gay, Cindy Penry and Vanessa Schumm Welch.
I play piano/keyboard. I also compose, score, record, mix and master. I do write the lyrics as well. Basically, I will use my synthesizers and samplers to play any instrument that I'm not using live. Often, I use my guitarists Brad Law and Keith Maloney. On my arrangement of the hymn "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief", the violinist Olev Viro of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra played the lead violin part. Yes, I do bring in musicians to mix with the electronic orchestration. It gives the music a more "authentic" sound.
Was I serious about the critique of your music? Absolutely! You would be surprised to know that some classical violinists (of great fame) find it difficult to perform "fiddle style" like you do. They can play Mozart incredibly, but may have problems playing a jig. So yes, my critique was honest.
I do theme a lot of my music to God, but most of my works are secular. I am not a Jesus Freak, and I can't stand them to be quite frank with you. I am not obsessed about it, but I do believe in Him. I love my God in a reverent manner and from time-to-time show my gratitude to Him through my music. As far as Christian Rock goes, I really don't know if any of my music falls into the Christian Rock category.
About your talent, I wish I could play a violin half as well as you, and I encourage you to keep on playing. I love what I'm hearing from your talent.
