Hi! Great to hear from you, and I am happy you are on holiday. My month abroad came and went and is like an old song these days. I am taking an interim class (4 weeks heavily loaded and accelerated) just to get through. I have 3 classes that start August 25th and then I have to figure out how to get done 7 history and 10 english classes so I can finally get dual certified. The core clases are masters but content classes in history and englih make me angry--they are undergraduate courses, for which I must fork out masters prices in tuition, since I did not take them as undergrad! I took english writing courses and only now understand that English Lit is required for thre PRAXIS exams in content for the Masters. AUGH!

Funny how the world keeps getting smaller all the time. So nice when you run into people who have lived so close and with whom there is a natural understanding of proximity and culture. That rarely happens to me, btu I love hearing about it just the same! Now my husband...happens to him everywhere!

Hah, don't worry about it. I'm just jealous :P Out of all the people in my group (40 now) not even five have even looked at my trivia section...

You will love your rebel camera...that is what I a have...too much fun. I'm a teacher and it's the end of the year so will email you more later and update my photos of Ireland. Let me know how the camera goes. I told John the other day...just play with it during an outing and play. We did one day when we were visiting San Francisco area during traffic dam over the Bay Bridge and what a blast and fun. It was fun and so were the people. Again let me know how it goes and have FUN!

My husband and I were able to visit last summer for almost 4 weeks. Loved it and of course I want to go back. So you were able to go to Wiklow? How did you like it? Wasn't able to make it there. Talk later.

Talk about 6 degrees of separation! HAha. Small world. I know what you mean about Philly staples--when we go visiting relatives in Indiana, we try to take Tastykakes with us too or pretzels--I always forget the daggone rolls. HAHA. I come through Germantown from Wissahickon everyday on my way to work and school (LaSalle). How'd you end up in Virginia? Everyone I have met that has relocated has loved it from first visit. A few years back, my husband and I went to Busch GArdens and walked through Wiliamsburgh--love the history but not the huge pricetags on visiting buildings was more than I expected. I guess it is probably on same scale as getig around Philly, but I know where to look for the breaks here. hah. Good to hear no storms made it to youor nick of the woods. Take CAre. Slan.
