About Me:
I'm half Irish and living in Montana. Family history has always interested me (my family were some of the Peter Robinson settlers; O'Briens,) as has the Irish culture. I love music, reading, writing, and art and have been trying to teach myself Irish Gaelic which has proven to be quite the journey . . . I love to chat, though I tend to be a little shy at first. :) I'm an aspiring author, often emerged in a fantasy novel. I'm also learning French because my school requires it, but it's still fun!
Favorite Music:
I love to listen to Gaelic being spoken or sang, any type of Gaelic, really, it's just comforting to hear. I'm also very fond of the bodhran and the fiddle . . . some of my favorite artists include Mairead Nesbitt, Grada, and Lasairfhiona Ni Chonaola.
Favorite TV Shows:
Don't watch to much T.V. but when I do . . . Ghost Hunters, Montel, or House.

Random Ramblings

What should I be doing? Well, I should be editing/rewriting my massive-research-essay-project analysis-thing . . . however, I've somehow convinced myself that my last hour before my brain reboots would be better spent blogging and making my mark on my LiveIreland page that I've sadly been neglecting lately. School keeps me plenty busy, but my hobbies and obsessions make sure to never let me have any down time, which is fine since I'm not to fond of my massive-research-essay-project… Continue

Scooterly, if you are into fantsy literature, are you familiar with swordandlaser.com. It is a sci-fi and fantasy book club. Probably the majority are into sci-fi, but still a number who are into the fantasy genre. I have begun a couple of groups there (I am obi-ron on that site).

Sounds like you keep busy. I am trying to get up my nerve to work on learning the Irish language. I haven't joined either of the applicable groups on Live Ireland yet, though. Maybe once I actually start on learning a little Irish.

I have never been to Montana - just Wyoming and Colorado. But I know that is a beautiful area. I hope to see it someday. Are you near mountains?

I just came back home after traveling around for twenty or so years, just had to see what the rest of the states and world was like! I forgot how beautiful this state was! You never realize the natural wonders tell you rediscover them!

Actually I have not attended the festival. I went to school in Bozeman and moved after High School in 1988 (We won the state basketball championship in the Irish city of Montana where you are most likely from)

hallo from Canada again...I see we both haave a passion for beauitrtful animanls of the wild. Mine are Bears especially the Grizzly. I had the pleasure of being in nature Canadian wilderness 2 summers now, backpacking,horse riding,canoeing through the most lovely country one can imagine.
